Serangoon Gardens!

This is my first time at Daddy's house at Serangoon Gardens. The moment I was brought in, Ye Ye and Nai Nai gave me 2 ang paos! I have been receiving so many ang paos ever since the day I was born. I think I am now extremely rich! =p I wonder if Mummy will let me use the money to buy toys next time when I'm older...

Daddy and Mummy later set up my car seat for me and strapped me into it. Daddy says I look like an astronaut!

My One Month Birthday

Daddy and Mummy threw a big celebration for me on my one month birthday. Lots of relatives were invited, and I was so excited that I couldn't sleep the night before, and kept the two aunties who looked after me awake! Many people came to our house for the celebration, and there was so much excited chatter going on. I was sleeping soundly at first, knocked out from the night before, but I wanted to join in the fun too, so I woke up. I was the center of attention for the day, the star attraction. I got to dress up in a lovely frilly white frock, and Gu Gu and Nai Nai even helped put on gold jewellery on me. There was an anklet, a bracelet with my name engraved on it, a necklace and pendant, all with Disney's Piglet on it, as I am a little piggy!

Look at all the red eggs and ang ku kuehs that were specially prepared for the occasion and put out for everyone to eat! Aren't they pretty?

I am now one month old, and I'm a big girl. I put on my best grown-up behaviour when I was brought out to meet all the adults.

But when no one was looking, I threw Gu Gu a secret cheeky wink!

Singapore's Next Top Model

Look at me in my pretty floral dress! Daddy says I have long legs, and maybe I will grow up to be a model! When Mummy took out her camera, I decided to do a real sexy model pose, complete with raised arms, lots of leg and not forgetting the all-important cute pout! Look at the sultry background too! A red sofa, lots of red cushions and shiny sequins, aren't I glamorous? I think I'm a natural at this! =P If only Mummy put on some make-up for me before this shoot, I'd have been able to qualify for Singapore's Next Top Model!

Funny Face

My first music lesson!

This is Gu Gu trying to teach me to play the piano. She guided my hand and played Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. She seems very keen to get me started on music lessons, maybe because she herself is a music fanatic. I, on the other hand, am more interested in my sleepies!

Bathtime!

Here is Daddy giving me a bath. The water made me as slippery as a fish, and Daddy had lots of trouble holding on to me! Luckily I have strong arms, and I held on very tightly onto his arm! I can't wait till I'm bigger, then maybe Mummy and Daddy can bring me swimming, and I can get to wear a cute set of bikini!

Sun Tanning Babe

Was prescribed 10 minutes of sun twice a day. Think Mummy has given me the wrong attire. I need a bikini, not boxing gear!!

This is my first day back from the hospital and I have been wrapped up like a silkworm! Look at my lovely pink bed! Doesn't it look cosy?

11 Aug 2007. Was finally going home after 3 nights in the hospital. Can't wait to see the lovely room that Papa and Mummy have prepared for me!

Yi yi, after much convincing, finally relented into carrying me. I decided to be naughty and played peek-a-boo with the camera. See, I told you Yi Yi is very pretty! =p

My first cry!

Hello everyone! My name is Isabelle! I was born on 8 August 2007 at 0016h. Thank goodness I had hair on my head, so I didn't look too ugly! I was a small baby, 2.67kg, 48cm. I wanted to make sure that although I was small, I was not to be messed with, so I came out into the world screaming my lungs out!

Mummy's gynae scheduled me for 8 August at 0830h at first, but I couldn't wait and wanted to join in the National Day fun, so I decided to come out early. Daddy had to rush Mummy to hospital and the whole team of doctors were activated for the c-section op. Ye ye, Nai nai and Gu gu waited downstairs at the Kopitiam while Mummy underwent surgery. Daddy was busy filming me. Everyone calls me a naughty baby because I didn't allow them one last night of rest =P

Today many people came to see Mummy and I at NUH. I made sure I put on my best behaviour and didn't cry at all. Both Daddy's and Mummy's family came, and also Da Yi Po and San Yi Po. Lots of Daddy's amd Mummy's friends came to see me too. I'm so cute that everyone wanted a go at carrying me! Gu gu was quite hesitant at carrying me at first, but when she did, I decided to be mischevious and gave her a kick!

*BIG YAWN* I've been so tired out by the events of today and putting on my best behaviour. It's time for sleepies!! See you all soon!
